Photograph of the residence in Poona belonging to Khan Bahadoor Pudumjee Pestonjee. There are two low buildings around a courtyard where a cow and several men are gathered. The surrounding garden has several tall trees. Other buildings can be seen in the distance. The top corners of the photograph have been cut into arcs.
The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, met Khan Bahadoor Pudumjee Pestonjee during his 1875-6 tour of India.Provenance
