Photograph of the residence in Poona belonging to Khan Bahadoor Pudumjee Pestonjee. The colonial building has a tiled roof and a veranda. There are several cypress trees in the surrounding garden. A man is sitting on the steps leading down to the garden and there is another man standing to the right. The top corners of the photograph have been cut into arcs.
The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, met Khan Bahadoor Pudumjee Pestonjee during his 1875-6 tour of India.Provenance
