-
Photograph of the Old Trinity Cathedral in St Petersburg. The church is a small wooden building with a dome and an onion shaped cupola. To the left is a wooden bell tower, also with an onion shaped cupola. There are trees and a small hut to the right and a road in the foreground. A number of people are standing on the road facing the camera. The Old Trinity Cathedral was commissioned by Peter I, Emperor of Russia. It was destroyed in 1933 and the site is now commemorated by a modern chapel.
