-
Photograph of the Schloss Kirche at Schloss Neustrelitz. The church is in the neo-gothic style and has two tall steeples, high arched windows and a rose window above the main doorway. It is surrounded by trees. The Schloss Kirche was built in the 1850s in the gardens of Schloss Neustrelitz, the principle palace of the Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The Mecklenburg-Strelitz family had close ties to the British Royal family dating from the marriage of Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz to King George III.
