A Chinese porcellanous stoneware dish, thickly potted and shallow, with rounded, spreading sides and everted rim, tapering foot and recessed base burnt orange-brown, apart from a circle of glaze in the centre. The well is moulded with a band of petal-like fluting, and impressed in the centre is a peony spray.
