A blue-and-white porcelain vase of baluster form with trumpet neck and spreading foot; glazed base on which the six-character reign-mark (Da Qing [Kangxi] nian zhi: ‘Made in the reign of the Kangxi emperor of the Great Qing’) is written (now partly obscured) in a double ring. Painted round the sides are three four-clawed dragons among clouds and flames, and round the neck two more.
