Photograph of the bustling Patrick's Street in Cork. There are tall street lamps lining the centre of the road. The street is flanked by buildings and shops on either side. The Pianoforte Warehouse is standing on the left of the street. Further along that side of the street a man is standing on a ladder, which is propped up against the facade of a building. Various modes of transport can be seen in the photograph. There are people walking on the pavements, underneath the awnings, and darting across the road. Trams and horse-drawn vehicles are travelling along the road in both directions.
