The carving in the centre of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of Jesus. The carvings below the Crucifixion include depictions of doubting Thomas and the arrest of Jesus. Other headstones can be seen surrounding the cross on all sides, with a plain Celtic cross in background on the left of the photograph.
