Postcard of Elisabeth, Queen of Romania. She has signed the card below the image, including her literary name of Carmen Sylva. It was sent to Prince Albert of Wales, later King George VI. The message reads : 'Wishing you all a happy new year with many thanks for your great kindness, sending me your picture. Affy'.
