Postcard of the lighthouse at Flamborough. It was sent to Prince Albert of Wales, later King George VI, by his governess Helene Bricka. The message reads : '2 Sept 1903. We went yesterday to Flamborough Head & visited the lighthouse. Went up a cicular staircase & the man explained all to us. In the evening we can see the lights from here. 1 red flash & 2 white ones every 20 seconds. It is very wet today. Love Helene'.
