Description

Postcard of HMY Britannia. It was sent to Prince Albert of Wales, later King George VI, by Captain Bryan Godfrey-Faussett. Godfrey-Faussett was a friend and equerry to his father the Prince of Wales, later King George V. The message reads : 'I do hope you will leave a few trout in the river for me to catch when I come in September!! B.G.F. Cowes. 9. Aug. 03'.
