Postcard of white cattle at Hamilton Palace. It was sent to Prince Albert of Wales, later King George VI, by Captain Bryan Godfrey-Faussett. Godfrey-Faussett was a friend and equerry to his father the Prince of Wales, later King George V. The message reads : "White Cattle", at Hamilton Palace. These cattle are very handsome, and very dangerous if they see any body walking, but they do not mind a carriage driving near them. B.G.F. 23 Aug.03. Thank you for your card'.
