Description

Postcard of a map of the world showing the route of SS Prinzess Irene. It was sent to Prince Albert of Wales, later King George VI, by Lady Mary Lygon, a member of the household of his mother the Princess of Wales, later Queen Mary. The message reads : 'Very many happy returns for your birthday! Mary Lygon'. It was posted on board the ship.
