This informal portrait of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent shows the sitters in a tender embrace after returning from their honeymoon in India and Iran, following their wedding in Vienna. During this time, the prince had grown a beard which he was required to shave before returning to the Army.

Though Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon divorced in 1978, he continued to photograph members of the Royal Family for the rest of his life.
