Photograph of Boulogne port at low tide. The view is divided by a wooden jetty, running horizontally across the photograph in the middle ground. Two boats feature in the foreground, and a large ship is moored in the jetty, on the side furthest away from the camera. There are buildings in the distant background. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
