Photograph of the village of Long-sur-Somme, seen from the river lock. There are numerous houses on the other side of the canal. The church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste is visible in the background, on the left, distinguished by its spire. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
