Photograph of the Church in Saint-Leu-d'Esserent, near Paris, seen from the railway line. It is a gothic style building with flying buttresses, twin towers on either side at the east end which also has a chevette or ring of chapels and a spire tower at the west end. Houses and buildings surround the church. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
