Photograph of the thirteenth-century wooden statue of Daikokuten (Mahakala) enshrined inside the Central Golden Hall (Chū-kondō) of Kōfuku-ji in Nara. Daikokuten is presented hooded, standing with his hands resting on his waist. His legs are slightly apart.
