Empress Dowager Maria Feodorovna escaped the Russian Revolution and returned to England where she lived with her sister, Alexandra.
Fulmer Gardens in Buckinghamshire were designed by Sir Harry Legge who was a member of the Royal Household, between 1890 and 1925 and comprise 13 acres. The gardens were visited by members of the Royal Family including Queen Victoria and King George V and Queen Mary.Provenance
