Bisdee flew with 609 Squadron during the Battle of Britain and later commanded 601 Squadron in Malta. He was awarded an OBE in 1945. This is one of a series of portraits of the last few surviving aircrew of the Battle of Britain taken by the photographer James Eckersley between 2000 and 2005.Provenance
