10" x 12" glass plate negative showing a full length group portrait of (left to right) King Albert of Belgium (1875-1934), Queen Mary (1867-1953), Queen Elisabeth of Belgium (1876-1965), and King George V (1865-1936). They are standing, facing front. Mary and Elisabeth have their arms linked. Albert is wearing a military uniform, ropes, sash, and medals (Order of the Garter among others) and is holding his hat in is left hand. Mary is wearing a beaded gown, crown, diamonds, sash, and Order of the Garter. She is holding a closed fan. Elisabeth is wearing a light coloured gown, tiara, and insignia. George V is wearing a military uniform, ropes, sash, and medals (Order of the Garter, Victoria Cross, among others) and holding his hat in his left hand. The portrait is set against an interior background with two large crystal chandeliers.
