6.4" x 4.7" glass plate negative showing a full length portrait of Prince Albert Victor of Wales (later Duke of Clarence). He is sitting and reading, his body is angled three-quarters right with his head facing down. He is wearing a dark coloured coat, vest, and cravat with a white collared shirt and light coloured trousers. The portrait is set against an interior painted background.
