Photograph of a field featuring a hollow resembling a spreadeagled man. The hollow, or dent, was made by one of the German airmen who fell from the Schütte-Lanz L32 Zeppelin that was shot down at Great Burstead, near Billericay, by Frederick Sowrey RFC on 23 September 1916. The hollow measured six inches deep.
