Description

Red leather album with black and gold decoration containing albumen photographs of prominent Victorian military figures. These include Prince Albert (1819-61), King Edward VII (1841-1910) when Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1850-1942) and Napoléon, Prince Imperial of the French (1856-79). Each photograph is surrounded by watercolour illustrations by the military artist Orlando Norie. RCINs 2502621-2502650.
