Photograph of Sir Charles Yorke. He is standing with his right hand resting on the table beside him and a sword in his left hand. He is wearing the uniform of a Field Marshal and a Military General Service Medal for service in the Napoleonic Wars. There is a hat with a feather plume on the table and a painted scene with a window and curtains behind. The photograph is surrounded by four watercolour illustrations of mounted and armed soldiers by the military artist Orlando Norie. Sir Charles Yorke served in the Napoleonic Wars and South Africa.
