Photograph of Brigadier General Seymour Charles Hale Monro. He is standing with his left leg forwards and his right hand resting on the ornately carved wooden sideboard to the left. He is wearing full Highland dress including a kilt and sporran. There is a bearskin hat with a feather plume on the sideboard and he is holding a pair of gloves in his right hand and a sword in his left. There is a chair to the right and a curtain draped to the far left.
Brigadier General Seymour Charles Hale Monro served with the Seaforth Highlanders during the Anglo-Egyptian War.
