Purple velvet bound album containing 26 photographs (RCINs 2500843 - 2500868) with illuminated title page, captions and hand-coloured borders throughout. The photographs show the military camp at Camp Curragh, Co. Kildare, Ireland, which was established in 1855 at the time of the Crimean war. The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) was posted there, and the camp was visited by Queen Victoria.
