-
Photograph of a British cemetery in the Crimea. There are two rows of gravestones, some with the inscriptions visible. There are stones and plants on the ground around them and a larger memorial surrounded by a wooden fence to the right. Behind the graves there is a stone wall with a gate at the centre. Before they left the Crimea in 1856 the British created a number of cemeteries on the sites where regiments had camped during the Siege of Sevastopol.
