Photograph of the sailor's battery in front of Sevastopol. To the left is a thick earth wall reinforced with wicker fencing and sandbags. There are two cannons with a pile of cannonballs on the ground between them. A large group of sailors are gathered behind the wall, two sitting on the ground with their legs crossed.
