Photograph which is one of five sections of a panoramic picture of the Plains of Balaklava. The others in the series are 2500571, 2500572, 2500574 and 2500575. The photograph shows the valley from a high vantage point, with a road curving round to the right. The Battle of Balaklava was fought in this area of the Crimea.
