Photograph of a full length portrait of Prince Albert, standing, facing towards the camera. He poses with his left hand on top of a chair, holding a portfolio in place. He holds a top hat in his right hand. He poses beside a table on which stands a statuette of the Venus de Milo and a selection of books. A globe is on the floor next to the Prince.
Provenance
A label on a brass tablet (RCIN 55344) suggests that the photographs were 'always placed on the Queen's writing table'.
