A 7 x 9 inch glass plate negative of two objects: an emerald and diamond brooch given to Queen Victoria in 1838 by Sultan Mahmoud [sic] (RCIN 65737); a vinaigrette given to Queen Victoria by the Queen of the French in 1843 (RCIN 65739, G&J 1909 p.117).
The negative was may have been originally housed in a brown cardboard sleeve with contemporary captions. Broken.Provenance
