A 10 x 12 inch glass plate negative of a sitting room in Windsor Castle, dominated by a Renaissance style wooden carved over-mantlepiece, carved with the Order of the Garter, royal coat of arms and the dates 1621 (RCIN 57184). The room is decorated with a fleur-de-lys wallpaper, and a recessed niche to right of fireplace, with various easy chairs and tables, and ornaments. This is the sitting room of the Garter House, at Windsor Castle.
