Engraving of a watercolour, probably RCIN 92017, at the Chateau d'Eu, when two Gobelins tapestries were presented to Queen Victoria by King Louis Philippe of France. This shows the moment where Queen Victoria and King Louis Philippe are admiring one of the tapestries, Atalanta weeping over the death of Meleager; Prince Albert and Queen Marie Amelie and members of the British and French royal families and households are behind. The other tapestry can be seen in the background. The tapestries are RCIN 64105.1 & 2.
