A 8.5 x 6.5 inch (whole plate) negative of the Audience Chamber, now known as the Queen's Audience Chamber, at Windsor Castle in 1902. Interior view looking towards the windows. Large Gobelins tapestry hung on the wall, on the right, is "The Coronation of Esther" (RCIN 35280). A giltwood armchair with embroidered upholstery (RCIN 20600), is placed below against the wall. Grinling Gibbons oak carved panelling on the walls.
Between the window bays, there is a tall pier mirror and chest of drawers below. Large bronze and gilt-metal candelabra (RCIN 31458) placed on top of the chest of drawers (possibly RCIN 33474). -
