Whole-plate glass negative of an ebony and ivory bookcase in the Grand Corridor, Windsor Castle, displaying Sevres porcelain pieces, including pot-pourri Mercure vase and cover (RCIN 36078) (top middle shelf) and vase a pied de globe or vase chinois (RCIN 2298) (bottom shelf). On top are three marble busts of children, including one of Prince Alfred (RCIN 1461) and Prince Leopold of Belgium (RCIN 55505).To right is a floor-length Gothic candelabra and a marble bust of a woman on a marble plinth. Matching negative is 2936787. The central bust on the cabinet is RCIN 53351 - Princess Beatrice - WC Sculpture 68. By Princess Louise, - Duchess of Argyll. The bust on the pedestal is RCIN 35414 - Victoria, Princess Royal, later Empress Friedrich of Germany. By Hugo Hagen. WC Sculpture 135. The pedestal is in the range of RCIN 31314.1-42. The Gothic candelabra was sent to the India office on 7/12/1921 with all of the others from the Grand Corridor. Items 35 and 37 Rooms F222 and F223. The painting is RCIN 407165 The Marriage of Queen Victoria by Hayter. OMV311. WC Inv 421. The cups and saucers etc. are Meissen in the range RCIN 33678-33700. 36001-36037 and 36141.
