A whole plate glass negative of part of Room 230, which was the Sitting Room of Princess Maud (consort of Prince Carl of Denmark, later King Haakon of Norway, daughter of King Edward VII), Windsor Castle. There is a cupboard and table with many pieces of porcelain, and four framed pictures above. To compare with 2401928, which shows more pieces of porcelain. The Chiffonier is RCIN 31468 or 78296.1 & 2. The Table is RCIN 29980. The Picture, left, is RCIN 913162 or 913179. Right is RCIN 913180 or 913163. Wall Lights are RCIN 44146.1-5. The plates are: Meissen: RCIN 58077.1-35.(1 only visible), Furstenberg: RCIN 58407.9 &10 visible, 6 in all on table (1-34), Meissen:RCIN 58066.1-16 (2 only visible) and RCIN 58067.1-7 (1 only visible) The lower central picture is WC 2061, a coloured photograph by Mayall of Queen Victoria and Prince Louis of Hesse riding in a carriage but is not on CMS (see glass plate negative RCIN 2400190).
