A whole-plate glass negative of part of Room 219, which was the Sitting Room of Princess Victoria of Wales (1868-1935). Here is a mahogany cupboard with a large pot with relief decoration. There is a framed drawing of the Duchess of Kent with Queen Victoria as a young girl by Hayter (RCIN 922932). This room used to be the School Room and the photograph was probably taken after the room was re-decorated and hung with new wallpaper. The cupboard is RCIN 78296 or 31468. The large pot is not on the CMS.
