A whole-plate glass negative of part of the Queen's Sitting Room, Room 214, Windsor Castle, the main feature being a bureau plat or desk (RCIN 21644) with a Sevres monteith (RCIN 59372), and a piano nearby. On the mantelpiece is a clock under a dome and a pair of blue-john perfume vases by Boulton (RCIN 21668) and a pair of candelabra. Paintings on wall behind. The Piano is not on CMS. The Mantelpiece is RCIN 90585 by Matthew Boulton. The Clock is RCIN 30028 - Matthew Boulton. The Candelabra are RCIN 39216 by Francois Remond. The Mirror is RCIN 21670 by Ashlin & Collings. The Painting on the left is RCIN 406111 - St.John the Baptist in the Desert by Guido Reni. On the right is RCIN 405630 - The Infant Christ and St.John the Baptist by Van Dyck. The centre painting is difficult to trace. The Fireguard is RCIN 71081. The Fire Irons cannot be identified accurately.
