A whole plate glass negative of a table with three porcelain pieces, a pair of small bowls and a large jar and lip on gilt mount (Sevres or East Asian). In the background is a sofa and armchair, a display cabinet with enamels or miniatures and other small pieces or bibelots; above this is a picture frame with a number of miniatures, and part of a large painting to right. This room was known as the King's Audience Room, but is now the Duke of Edinburgh's Audience Room (F200). The Table is Morel & Seddon RCIN 21910. The large Jar is Arita RCIN 45262 a&b C&J 1684.The Dishes are Sevres-style RCIN 45052.1&2. The Painting is by Sir James Hayter - Queen Victoria when Princess - RCIN 400569. RCIN 404118 and 406682 are also versions. Also Print RCIN 500075.The Sofa is RCIN 33750. The Display Table is RCIN 515.1 or 2 att. to Wm Gates.The frame of miniature paintings, the painting to left and the armchair cannot be identified. This is the negative to RCIN 2936752.
