A 12 x 10 inch glass plate negative of a view of one of the houses within Home Park, with a view of the original cast iron Victoria Bridge crossing the river Thames into Windsor from Datchet. There are a number of people standing near the house. Both the Victoria Bridge and the Albert Bridge were built about 1850-1 in cast iron, enabling the Home Park to be partially closed to the public. The Victoria bridge was replaced by a concrete bridge in 1963 having suffered damage by tanks crossing over during the WWII. The Albert Bridge was replaced about 1927.
