A 7 x 9 inch glass plate negative of a display of gifts, including an oval silver mirror, a fan with painted watercolour, a pair of tall fluted vases, a candlestick and various objects, not clear in the photograph as the emulsion surface has been badly scratched. It was photographed in the White Drawing Room, Windsor Castle. The large headless painting is of Queen Victoria by Winterhalter (RCIN 401413). The painting on the right is Prince Albert Edward, Prince of Wales when a child, by Winterhalter (RCIN 401411). The other items are not identified.
