A whole plate negative of 'Various pieces of armour belonging to a suit made for Henry VIII now preserved in the Tower of London'.
Part of Henry VIII's armour dated 1540 now in the Royal Armouries (II.8) sent from Windsor Castle to the Tower of London by Sir Guy F Laking in 1914. (Plate 13 for Laking's volume. Includes a pair of mitten gauntlets, pair of cuisses, elbow guard for tilting, bridle gauntlet for left hand, a locking gauntlet for the right hand, a cantle plates for a saddle, 2 volant pieces for tilting. -
