A 9 x7 glass plate negative of a Regimental Colour and Staff of the 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers, found after the Battle of Isandlwana (South Africa, 1879). Presented to Queen Victoria in 1881 but returned to the Regiment in 1923. Photographed for the Windsor Castle Inventory of Arms, Part 3, North Corridor, no.1350 (RCIN 1122402) - a print placed between pages 436-437.
