A 5 x4 glass plate negative of a 'cloisonne' dish from Yuanmingyuan (the 'Old Summer Palace'), near Peking (modern Beijing), sacked by Anglo-French troops in 1860, and presented to Queen Victoria by Lieutenant General Henry Hope Crealock (1831–91).
