Description

A 5 x4 glass plate negative of a 'cloisonne' dish from Yuanmingyuan (the 'Old Summer Palace'), near Peking (modern Beijing), sacked by Anglo-French troops in 1860, and presented to Queen Victoria by Lieutenant General Henry Hope Crealock (1831–91). Photographed for the Windsor Castle Inventory of Arms, Part 2, North Corridor, no.1020 (RCIN 1124401). No RCIN identified
