A 5 x 4 inch glass plate negative of a model on a mahogany stand of the Great Cannon of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II (r.1444-46 and 1451-81), made in 1464, given to Queen Victoria by Admiral Sir Commerell in 1889. Sent to the Royal United Services Institute in 1903. Photographed for the Windsor Castle Inventory of Arms, Part 1, North Corridor, no.393 (RCIN 1122400).
