Reproduction of an original photograph of the funeral procession of Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich (1858-1915). The coffin is moving along the Neva Embankment in St Petersburg. Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia (1868-1918), Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich (1877-1943), Grand Duke George Mikhailovich (1863-1919), Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich (1876-1938), Prince Constantine Constantinovich (1891-1918), Prince John Constantinovich (1886-1918), Prince Gabriel Constantinovich (1887-1955), Grand Duke Dimitri Constantinovich (1860-1919) and Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich (1859-1919) are walking behind the coffin. Crowds follow and there are boats in the river to the right. Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich was the second son of Grand Duke Constantine Nikolayevich. He was a patron of the arts and a respected poet. His funeral in June 1915 was the last state funeral of Imperial Russia.
