Photograph of 1st Scot Guards seated at tables inside a large hall at Chelsea Barracks. The young men wear matching dark colour shirts and trousers. They turn their heads to face the camera. On the left of the photograph, beside the seated soldiers, stand three men including a chef wearing an apron and chef's hat, and an officer (sergeant) wearing a cap. The officer holds a clipboard and appears to be taking notes. On the left side of the photograph are a series of tables, laid with crockery that appears to have been used.
The photograph was taken on Armistice Day, 1930. -
