This cup is made of a single piece of carved and polished banded agate. Its mounts are in the antique taste and are in the form of a bird’s leg set with cabochon sapphires. The cup originally belonged to Princess Mary Adelaide, Duchess of Teck (1833–97), and was inherited by her daughter, later Queen Mary. Mark of Erik Kollin; gold mark of 56 zolotniks (before 1896)
