A miniature porcelain vase and cover with detachable gilt metal and enamel Siamese-style finial. Vase and cover decorated with masks and foliage on an orange ground. The cover inverts to form a bowl.
Provenance
According to a note in Queen Mary's hand: 'Pair of miniature Siamese pottery vases & covers given to the [Dolls'] House by the mother of Prince Chula Chakrabangra [sic.] of Siam. Placed in the library 1/6/33.' One of a pair with RCIN 230755.
